Multimedia communication: a necessity for organizations

Every organization, be it a micro-business, a small business just starting up or already in activity, a lab, a service, a project or whatever else, needs to communicate with the outside world and within its own walls, making the most of all types of media: Web sites, paper documents, brochures and presentation slideshows.

This involves, however, the challenge of following a graphics charter, keeping up with a large volume of documents and updating all these different contents concurrently.

ShowOrg, dedicated to organizations

The ShowOrg publishing chain offers the solution to these problems by:

  • applying automatic publishing rules to ensure homogeneity of the graphics charter,
  • creating different types of documents in different formats: Web, Flash, paper,
  • centralizing content elements, referenced in different documents, so updating occurs once and is automatically carried over onto all the related documents.

ShowOrg: adaptable, flexible

ShowOrg adapts to an organization's documentation needs and graphics charter. ShowOrg is a component of the open source library ShowLib, available to integrators and designers (in the Models section of the scenari-platform.org site) which enables organizations to have access to a documentation creation environment.

These examples of presentation publishing chains were created with the ShowLib library, a set of preconfigured software primitives, that can be freely downloaded from the scenari-platform.org site.
